CLIMAP brings together information about hazards, observed impacts and field contributions. Its purpose is straightforward: provide a shared space where data can be submitted, checked, consolidated and consulted with a clear level of confidence.
The platform combines a public portal, a contributor workspace and review tools for coordination teams. Visitors can read articles, published documents and available visualizations. Authorized users can create submissions, track their status and exchange with review teams.
At launch, CLIMAP is designed to help teams work from the same references: common definitions, common validation workflows and a shared understanding of published information. This reduces duplication, improves feedback to contributors and makes shared information easier to interpret.
